💰 Improving Ad ROI
// Simple Tweaks to Breakeven on the Front End
When it comes to growing your business online - knowing the difference between the front end and the back end is critical for your success.
The front end is the first purchase you make to completely ICE cold traffic that has never met you before.
Here is the crazy thing about this… If you can just break even on this you’ll probably be able to build a 7 figure business.
The back end is the long term, usually distributed by your email list. Here you can send 1-30 emails per month to warm up your list and turn your customers into clients.
Think of it like this… If you can break even on the front end… You don’t have any ad spent.
Hypothetically you can spend $10,000 in a day - you make $10,000 that same day - but you have something much more valuable than just the $10K…
You now have hundreds or even thousands of new people on your list that you got for free - and you can run the same process to get them onto the list tomorrow.
As those people warm up and start turning into clients you make real cashflow all the while your list keeps building on autopilot.
Since 2016, this has exclusively been the strategy I’ve used to grow my list and in turn my client businesses.
I’ve been able to make millions of dollars in sales due to this incredibly simple approach.
Even more than simply breaking even I’ve worked out how to turn my marketing into a profit centre for me. Every day I make over $1.5 for every $1, I invest into marketing (on the front end.)
With some strategic thinking - most businesses can use this approach to grow and scale their businesses.
In the past two weeks I’ve had a new client join me who runs an online PT business.
Before working with me he had many of the pieces of the puzzle in place.
He was driving ads into a lead magnet and getting cheap leads - he was then presenting those leads with a self liquidating offer.
The problem was this.
We was only doing a 0.4x ROAS.
So for every $1 he spent he was getting back $0.4… Not very scalable.
I used my offer design systems to make some tweaks with him on the first consulting call.
He just sent me this yesterday…
Immediately with a couple of tweaks he’s already up to 0.966 ROAS.
Within the next two weeks I expect to see him at 1.5 and we’ll be able to scale things significantly from there.
Especially considering his back end is incredibly strong!
